LIMITATIONS
• Intended for exterior use. Interior
application
requires mandatory forced fresh air ventilation
until aroma dissipates. Inform solvent odor
sensitive persons this compound contains
a petroleum solvent.

INSTALLATION
Apply 3/8" deep, like
diagram to a temperate, clean,
dry,
frost free structurally sound surface that is free of
oils, soaps, silicone, or loose material
that may inhibit
bonding. Clean excess sealant with a solvent such as
xylene or by scraping. Warm
tube overnight in cool
weather.
Do
not tool inside corner joints..
Tool control joints.
Back caulk butt joints.
Backer rod or bond breaker tape is required on butt
joints or control joints to prevent three
point adhesion.
Do not apply when substrate temperature is above 125ºF
Prior to application, obtaining the building owners
approval of the sealant color is
the applicator's
responsibility.

CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
Meets performance requirements of
TT-S-00230c, Class A, Type II and ASTM
C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use
NT,
except for weight loss.
LIMITED WARRANTY
NPC warrants #900 Solar Seal will meet
the
performance data tests listed below and
when judged according to the test methods
listed below. For best results on inside corner
joints the user must follow our installation
instructions and "Proper Cured Bead" diagram.
For other joint designs the user must test the
suitability prior to full application for his intended
use and assumes all risks. Buyer's sole remedy
shall be limited to the purchase price or
replacement of product exclusive of labor or cost
of labor. No other warranties implied or expressed
shall apply, including any warranty or fitness for
a particular purpose. NPC shall not be liable under
legal theory for special or consequential damage.
Expected life: 20+ years on inside corner joints
when installed as directed herein. |
